Electroluminescent

Electroluminescent (EL) wire, also known as Flexible Neon Wire, is a thin wire coated in phosphor in a tube that emits light along its entire length without heat radiation. EL wire consumes much lower power than that of LED lamps, and as such is the emerging standard in a new generation of lighting and display applications.
