Nuts

A nut is a type of fastener with a threaded hole and used in conjunction with a mating bolt to fasten multiple non-threaded parts together. The parts are held together by a combination of their thread friction, bolt stretch, and compression of the parts. Nuts are identified by thread size, material, thickness, plating and type such as cage, clip, hex, jam, knurled, locking, square and thumb.
