In the practical application of inductance, sometimes unexpected phenomena will occur, so the inductance in practical application should also be concerned about these:

1, the temperature is too high

The inductor is heated in the working process, which leads to the normal phenomenon when the temperature rises. If the temperature is too high, the iron core and the coil are easy to change the inductance due to the temperature.Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the working temperature of the inductor and select the appropriate size of the inductor.

2. Magnetic field interference

The inductor is working to generate a magnetic field around the inductor due to the flow of current.Other components should be placed at right angles to the inductor or inductor coil to minimize interference.If the requirement is higher, the inductor with shield can be used instead.


3. Distributed capacitance

Distributed capacitance will be generated between the coil layers of the inductor, which can cause high frequency signal bypass and reduce the actual filtering effect of the inductor. Therefore, special attention should be paid when using the inductor for high frequency filtering.

4. Measurement of inductance

When measuring the inductance and Q with the instrument, the test lead should be as close as possible to the inductor for accurate data.
